I recently visited Ajee Hair Salon and had an excellent experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, making me feel welcomed from the moment I walked in. I am very particular about my hair. I am writing this review under my son's account. My hair is dark, long and had not been cut in almost 2 years. I requested for root touch up and blonde highlights. I specifically stated did not want my hair to have a red or orange brassy tint, as I do have natural red in my hair. The salon proceeded to do my roots and came out perfect. Next step was the highlights all said and done my appointment was well over 4 hours which is normal. The price I paid was exactly what I was quoted and definitely affordable. The hair cut given was exactly what I had requested. I am not an easy customer, and they were very patient, and their customer service was excellent. Most definitely I have found my salon and look forward to providing my business to this salon. Keep up the great work.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Ajee salon. I came in with clear instructions and a specific vision for my hair. I wanted ashy brown highlights and emphasized that I absolutely did not want any reddish tones. At the end of the session, I had reddish tones in my hair. To add on, I was charged more than we initially discussed. Naturally, I was upset and decided to return to the salon a few days later to discuss the issue and hopefully find a solution. As soon as I brought up the problem, the stylist accused me of lying about my initial request, immediately yelling and arguing at me like I was the one at fault.Not only was this response completely uncalled for, but it was also incredibly rude and disrespectful. I've lived in Canada for almost two decades, and I've never seen such rude customer service in my life. I would strongly advise against anyone seeking services from Ajee salon, as her lack of professionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction is truly astonishing. Save yourself the headache and find a hairstylist who actually cares about their clients. Her replies to the bad reviews here are a perfect example of her horrible customer service.

I got a facial and hair spa a couple weeks ago. The facial was super relaxing and the hair spa worked wonders. Ajee gives a great hair blowout & Shabana gives amazing head massages! They do such excellent, thorough work, and are very welcoming. Will definitely be going back for more magic!

The owner loves to argue with the customer it seems like, because I had a similar experience when I walked in. She agreed on a lower price for me for eyebrows, and then when I went to pay she tells me a higher price. Then when she came back to the price she quoted the day before, she then proceeds to tell me it’s credit card only? Nothing like that was specified so naturally I was annoyed when on the card machine she’s charging the docked up price because of the “machine fee”. I still paid cash because I couldn’t use my cards, but literally how is anyone supposed to know? Eyebrow lady was nice, slow but she did a good job I’ll give her that. But the owner in the front is definitely the reason I wouldn’t go back. Also to the owner, I’d suggest not to completely dismiss people’s experiences with you and actually take it constructively. Replies of the owner to bad reviews is just reflective of why the review is like that. Hope you can work on it.Edit: LOL that is not true, and yet again here you are arguing with your clients. I like working with small businesses and that’s why I came to you THREE times despite your lack of better communication. My mom had the exact same experience when she came in for a colour too. False advertising and so unprofessional. Changing my rating from a 2 to a 1. Thank you.

I recently had my hair highlighted (Red Hot) in Ajee and it was wonderful experience- friendly service- more than expected result-affordable price.1st pic is with curler at salon (complimentary), 2nd pic is with my natural hair after hair wash.Thank you Ajee once again. I wouldn’t even give this place a 1 star rating, she RUINED my hair.Went in for blonde highlites that turned red, then orange, she says it’s not red? Yes it was, and still is, I’m brunette, then continued to do my whole head in dark brown, still have no highlights, paid $65 for that mess. I’d go back and ask for a refund but I would never set foot in there again. Horrible experience.

Don’t believe their promotions or the prices listed on the site. They try to lure people you in by false advertising of 50% off on highlights. $260 for full highlights while the site says 95+. Understood the length and thickness make a difference. But 2.6X charge!Edit- to respond to the reply- she charged additional $45 for full hair color, additional for haircut. So please stop lying and don’t run promotions of 50% off on highlights and then charge insane amount and then discount it!. She also was running a promo for kids haircut and charged additional 10% on that too! Unethical.

This is worse place to thread your face. The lady was slowest ever person i have had and she ended up causing injuries and scratches to my neck which is still showing red scars which looks horrible. After spending one hour to thread, the owner thought something since it took so long. She finally even charged full price after causing huge delay and injuries! They desrve 0 stars

Amazing place and services. Ajee is very knowledgeable and knows her job well. I have been visiting for an year and a half and she always did a great job. I have been going to see Ajee for about a year and a half now. I had my hair cut at another hair place in January 2022 and the hairdresser cut my hair so uneven and very short. I was very hesitant to step foot into another hair salon after that experience. In June 2022 I stepped foot into Ajee Salon and met Ajee. She worked with me and wouldn’t cut off more than I asked her to while we were working towards getting my hair to an even length (slowly since I wouldn’t let her cut too much off lol). My hair is now even and has been even for about 8 months now. The only place I will go to get a cut/trim is to Ajee herself.Today I walked in last minute without an appointment to get a hair cut for my son. He ended up wanting to dye it Turquoise and although I hesitated I let him go through with it. Ajee did such a great job cutting and dying his hair. He is so happy about it new doo and excited for his first day of school so he can show his friends!

I went for a hair treatment. She did it in 15 minutes. I can do better massage at home. She was so much more in rush. Staff and owner herself is not professional. It looks like they only care about money not a service. I would not recommend it to anyone. They don't know how to do blow drying.

I took my kids to Ajee's Salon and was completely blown away by the care and special attention they each received. One of them is a very reluctant hair brusher and Ajee worked through the tangles gently but persistently and gave her a manageable cut, so she ended up with hair that looked and felt 1000x healthier. In the past haircuts have required bribery - this was a totally different experience in the best way possible. We will definitely be back!

This was my second time going to Ajee's Salon and the experience was wonderful! I have struggled to properly take care of my curly hair and Ajee recommended a layers haircut, which she did beautifully. Would highly recommend her for hairstyling, because she knows what she's doing! :)

Amazing experience. The comfort zone and superb wax skills I experienced there I never had it before anywhere.I must say one should use this service of Brazilian wax at Ajee.It’s Best here why I am saying this as I had this wax in 2 other countries too but no comparison of services found here
